GlucoGel - Q) What temperature should GlucoGel be kept at

A) It is best to keep GlucoGel at room temperature. If GlucoGel is put in the fridge, the composition of the gel will not change but it will become thicker and harder to administer. If GlucoGel has been kept in the fridge, allow it to reach room temperature again before using.

 

GlucoGel - Q) Once I have opened the 80g bottle of GlucoGel how long will it last?

A) Once the bottle has been opened the contents should be used within 14 days.

A) There are 10g of carbohydrate in each tube of GlucoGel.

A) Each GlucoTab contains 4 grams of fast-acting carbohydrates, mainly in the form of dextrose monohydrate (glucose). 

GlucoTabs - Q) What is the shelf life of GlucoTabs?

 A) A best before end date is printed on each individual tube or bottle. Typical shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
